Steam pressure reducing valve regulating downstream steam pressure to a pre-adjusted set point.
Industrial pressure reducing valves regulate downstream pressure to a pre-set value, ensuring stable and safe operation in steam, compressed air and liquid systems. Our range includes direct-acting and pilot-operated reducing valves for low, medium and large capacity applications.
Pressure reducing valves maintain constant downstream pressure regardless of inlet pressure fluctuations or changes in flow demand. They are commonly used on steam distribution systems, compressed air networks, and utility/process liquid lines to stabilize operating conditions and protect equipment.
Select the suitable principle and capacity class: large-capacity direct acting (41-23, DRV7), medium-capacity pilot operated (DP27), or low-capacity direct acting (BRV2/LRV2/SRV2).

The Type 41-23 Steam Pressure Reducing Valve regulates the steam pressure downstream from the valve to a pre-adjusted set point value. Designed for industrial steam service with robust construction, easy adjustment and straightforward maintenance.

The downstream steam pressure signal moves the diaphragm against an adjustable spring. Valve movement is proportional to sensed pressure; at higher flow rates, offset increases. Can also be used as a surplussing valve.

The downstream pressure signal operates a pilot valve against an adjustable spring, modulating flow to the main diaphragm. This adjusts the main valve opening to maintain the desired downstream pressure with virtually no offset between no-load and full-load conditions. Can also be used as a surplussing valve.

In these direct acting low-capacity valves, the downstream pressure signal moves a set of bellows
against an adjustable spring. Valve movement is proportional to downstream pressure; the greater
the flow, the larger the offset.
