Scandi Brew tank safety equipment
The Alfa Laval catalogue introduces the Scandi Brew safety-valve range as equipment designed to protect tanks from vacuum or overpressurization.
Within catalogue section 1.9, the spare-parts documentation is arranged by product family. Each following part can therefore be built around the original exploded view, position numbers, denominations, service kits and OEM item numbers shown for that specific assembly.
This Part 1 is intentionally an overview. It establishes the product map and protection logic without adding unverified part numbers or specifications.

Protection functions
Vacuum and overpressure protection
Tank safety requires controlled response to two opposite pressure conditions.
Vacuum protection
Anti-vacuum valves, anti-vacuum housings and the Unique 7000 vacuum-breaker family provide the catalogue’s vacuum-protection side of the range.
Overpressure protection
Standard safety valves, pressure-exhaust houses, pressure-relief valves and the D60RTHMP relief valve form the catalogue’s overpressure-relief group.
